Drawing Houses
If you want to draw a house as easily, realistically and three-dimensionally as possible, you have to pay attention to the fundamental shape first. Once the shape is established, you can add windows, doors and fronts. The shape of the house is always influenced by a certain perspective, for example the worm's-eye or the bird’s-eye view.
The basis for drawing houses is the horizon line, on which a single vanishing point or multiple ones are placed. In the next step, you consider the corner marks of the house. It can be helpful to view the house as an ashlar whose lateral lines lead on to the vanishing points. Due to their length and the distance between them, the vertical supports of the house determine its later size. You should view the roof construction as a prism, which is being attached to the ashlar. Here it is also important that each line leads on to one or multiple vanishing points.
