A pure landscape or nature painting can be very beautiful. However, there is one dangerous aspect: It might not be able to capture the viewers’ attention for a longer time or it could quickly appear monotonous. In order to avoid these aspects and to make a painting appear more vivid, you should add a few little hints of human civilization, like for example footprints, buckets, ladders in an orchard, a faraway village or a bench at the forest edge etc.
