If you’ve ever mixed a huge amount of paint and had some left over when you finished, you’ll know the feeling – too much to throw out, but how do you keep it from drying out?

The most popular method is filling the paint into Ziploc bags and zipping them shut. Another option is to take the container with the paint in it and cover it with a damp cloth and a layer of tin foil. Or put the paint inside a lid and cover it with a plate – make sure no air can get to the paint.

And you can always store your paint in the fridge, where it will keep for several weeks.
