Cerdeira is a centuries-old shale village, where are perfect conditions for artistic creation, a place of learning and cultural exchange. Cerdeira has developed into an artistic center with international artist residencies, artist weeks and workshops. In addition to the partly listed shale houses, the studio rooms, small libraries, common bakeries, galleries and cafes, there is also the annual art festival “Elementos à Solta – Art meets Nature“. The festival is a meeting for artists and art lovers. The village turns into a unique outdoor gallery for a few days.The village is a unique accommodation along with an excellent cultural project.
