For me, drawing and painting are not an art in narrow sense, but became and still are becoming a way of seeing and understanding the world: a philosophy of life and a way of being. Observations of aspects and impressions of nature and cultures and the artistic expression of 'oneself' and the communication with the 'other' are keys to the 'quest' for a way of being in the world.Each deep observation of aspects of nature, a face, an object, a place, captured in line, form, or color, seems each time the unveiling of a mystery.
