Jo-Anne Surridge
Jo-Anne Surridge (BA Dip Cons AMUKIC ).
Jo Surridge studied Art and Art History at Leicester University before becoming employed as the senior paper conservator for Hampshire County Museums Service for 16 years , during which time she completed a teaching diploma in Art and Restoration and gained a certificate in Bookbinding and Papermaking with the Institute of Archival Conservation.
Jo moved to SW France with her husband and two children in 2010 and offered internships to post graduate conservation/art students
Amidst the vines of SW France, Jo refined her skills as a watercolour painter exhibiting regularly throughout the region and winning several prizes for her pen and ink sketches.
In 2014 Jo moved to the Bordeaux wine region of Le Gironde and created her intimate and unique Chambre d'hôtes " Le Peyrail."
Le Peyrail creates a perfect environment for two of her passions, art and animals, offering the ideal setting for those looking for an oasis of beauty and creativity, not to mention the fine wine and delicious food of the Bordeaux region.
Jo looks forward to welcoming you at Le Peyrail as a fellow artist, a debutant or equally as a guest.
Being a small set up at Le Peyrail, her dates and courses are flexible and she is always willing to fit in with your flights and holiday times.
